Oliver Edkins is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Kent Construction Consultants and a valued, key member of our team. He supports the delivery of residential and commercial projects, bringing a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach that helps maintain cost certainty and smooth project progress. Oliver is currently completing a degree that is proudly sponsored by Kent Construction Consultants, reflecting both his commitment to developing as a construction professional and the company’s investment in growing talent from within. Alongside his studies, he is gaining practical experience across a broad range of commissions, supporting our Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers with core commercial and reporting activities.
In his day-to-day role, Oliver assists with measurement and take-offs, preparation of tender and contract documentation, cost planning, valuations, change management and ongoing cost reporting. He is also currently supporting various team members across several strategic projects, helping coordinate information, maintain accurate records and contribute to timely decision-making for clients and project teams. Reliable, organised and keen to learn, Oliver is known for his positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks. He is developing quickly into a well-rounded commercial professional and is an important part of our continued growth and delivery for clients.
