Charles is a Chartered Construction professional with 20 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management. He has worked with global consultancies, contractors, and high-profile clients, leading to the founding of Kent Construction Consultants—now one of the region’s top independent, award-winning multidisciplinary practices. His vision is to deliver a bespoke, unmatched service across the construction sector.

Before launching the firm, Charles led complex, prestigious projects across the UK, Middle East, and U.S., including the renowned Necker Island resort and a private residence for Sir Richard Branson. He has collaborated with globally acclaimed architects and design teams, contributing to multiple award-winning, high-impact schemes. After over a decade in contracting, Charles began his consultancy career at Turner & Townsend, gaining expertise in the health, education, and science sectors. This foundation helped expand Kent Construction Consultants’ reach across diverse markets nationwide. He is recognised by chartered institutions for championing modern construction methods, sustainability, and net-zero carbon delivery.

A driving force behind the firm’s ethos, Charles is passionate about sustainability, cross-sector collaboration, and using market intelligence to create long-term value. Manraj Bhuhi

Manraj began his career in 2015 as an apprentice with global cost consultancy Turner & Townsend in London. While completing his degree at London South Bank University, he gained hands-on experience across public and private sector projects, many valued over £50 million. His strong delivery record led to rapid progression into senior leadership, where he honed both strategic and technical expertise.

With a solid foundation in project delivery and business leadership, Manraj has led multimillion-pound schemes from inception to completion, specialising in commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-outs. He excels at building trusted client relationships, and maintaining robust cost control, programme management, and quality assurance. As Director at Kent Construction Consultants, he shapes strategy, oversees London operations, and leads a high-performing team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. His leadership was instrumental in securing ISO 9001 accreditation, supported by quality systems he helped develop.

A Mental Health First Aid-trained advocate, Manraj leads the firm’s mental health and social engagement initiatives, fostering an open, supportive workplace culture. He mentors graduates and apprentices through structured development and professional pathways. Active in charitable work, he raises awareness and funds for mental health and vulnerable communities, extending his impact beyond the workplace. Under his guidance, Kent Construction Consultants - an RICS-regulated firm and Southeast training partner for the Chartered Institute of Building -continues to invest in employee development, promoting a culture of growth, inclusion, and social responsibility.

Jonathan Davies

Associate Director

Jonathan joined the practice in 2024, bringing extensive expertise to our management team. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), he has over 25 years’ experience in business leadership and project delivery across the UK and Europe. He specialises in NEC4 contracts and has successfully led technically complex projects across sectors including Banking, Government, Higher Education, Commercial, Residential, Grade I Listed Heritage Buildings, and Social Housing.

He has significant experience delivering public sector frameworks, including SCAPE, streamlining construction and infrastructure projects through efficient and compliant procurement. His expertise spans risk management, project controls, change management, claims, financial reporting, cost analysis, and procurement. In addition to his project roles, Jonathan serves as Head of Growth at Kent Construction Consultants, overseeing internal professional development, mentoring staff through RICS qualifications, and leading CPD initiatives.

An active member of the RICS Southern Board, Jonathan focuses on social value initiatives. He also serves as an APC assessor and sits on the Professional Engagement Panel for the University of Reading’s Estate Management program. He remains dedicated to nurturing emerging talent within the profession.

Elliott Cobb-Webb

Elliott joined our practice in 2023 as Associate Director, leading high-profile projects and frameworks. A chartered professional with over 10 years’ experience at a leading consultancy, he has delivered complex schemes across education, residential, commercial, industrial, technology, heritage, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, with project values ranging from £200,000 to £100 million.

At Kent Construction Consultants, Elliott has led flagship projects including the Eurotunnel redevelopment. He manages the Kent-based team, driving excellence in project delivery and client engagement across the Group. He has a strong track record with Kent County Council, playing a key role in delivering significant schemes through their Major Construction Framework.

Elliott graduated with First Class Honours in Quantity Surveying from Anglia Ruskin University and is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He has also developed expertise in bank monitoring and expert witness roles. His leadership roles include Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator, Employers’ Agent, and Project Manager. Skilled in detailed measurement and BIM, he is proficient in advanced software tools and holds PRINCE2 Practitioner status. Elliott is a respected leader within the practice, managing teams and key client relationships.

Chyna Kenward

Chyna joined Kent Construction Consultants in 2020 as Business Development Manager, overseeing all business-related activities, including new business acquisition and operational management. Prior to joining Kent Construction Consultants, Chyna built an extensive career in Central London, working for over ten years as a high-net-worth broker. Chyna brings valuable experience in building and nurturing effective teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated working environment that supports the firm’s growth objectives. She has a proven track record in business development, driving client engagement and expanding commercial opportunities.

Chyna and her team have been instrumental in Kent Construction Consultants achieving ISO 9001 accreditation and are currently leading efforts towards ISO 14001 certification. She manages the company’s accreditations and champions the practice’s pledge to driving sustainability, working towards establishing Kent Construction Consultants as a net zero carbon organisation. In addition to driving business development, Chyna oversees the commercial and business aspects of the practice, including practice development, staff training, and the coordination of social events. She is actively involved in community engagement and team building activities, playing a crucial role in fostering a collaborative culture and driving the firm’s strategic deliverables.

Chyna is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice and supports the firm’s quality assurance processes. As the practice continues to expand its workforce and office locations, Chyna’s role remains critical to ensuring seamless and efficient business operations.

James McGuire

James joined Kent Construction Consultants in October 2020, bringing over 10 years’ experience as a skilled commercial and project professional. A Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), he combines strong technical expertise with extensive experience in civils projects, delivering complex and commercially robust outcomes.

As one of the first employees after the company’s incorporation, James has been instrumental in its growth. Since graduating from the University of Greenwich, he has progressed through roles including Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager, successfully delivering projects across Kent, Surrey, and London. An expert in cost planning, he has led schemes valued at over £50 million, ensuring alignment with client objectives and seamless project execution. His expertise spans technical and design management, contract variations, and design changes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Promoted in 2022, James now leads a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, overseeing some of Kent’s most prestigious schemes. His procurement, civils, and technical knowledge position him as a key leader in managing complex projects. Passionate about sustainable and innovative construction, he collaborates closely with design teams from project inception, guiding clients through policy and commercial challenges to deliver optimal outcomes.

Becky Port

Becky joined Kent Construction Consultants in August 2024, bringing over 15 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management. A Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), she combines technical expertise with strategic insight to deliver pragmatic, effective solutions for clients and project teams. Since joining, she has played a key role in strengthening the firm’s Project Management processes, improving operational efficiency and mentoring junior staff.

Becky manages a wide-ranging portfolio, from £2 million residential schemes to complex developments valued up to £90 million. She has also demonstrated strong leadership on major infrastructure projects, known for her resilience and results-driven approach in high-pressure environments.

Passionate about gender equality in construction, Becky is actively involved with Women in Construction, advocating for greater representation and inclusivity across the industry.
