Kent Construction Consultants is proud to have successfully delivered Charles Court, a landmark residential development in the heart of Margate, on behalf of our valued clients, Kentish Projects and Future Homes. Appointed to provide comprehensive construction management and quantity surveying services, we played a pivotal role in guiding the project from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and community value at every stage.

As construction management professionals, our role extended far beyond site supervision. We oversaw the full construction process, ensuring that programme milestones were met, budgets controlled, and quality standards exceeded. Our team maintained close coordination with the design team, led by Pod Architects, to ensure the original vision was executed flawlessly on site.

A key pillar of our approach to delivering Charles Court was the integration of local supply chains. We actively engaged with trusted Kent-based contractors, suppliers, and service providers to support the regional economy and reduce the environmental impact of transportation. By prioritising local procurement, we were able to foster meaningful partnerships and ensure a responsive, agile supply network throughout the build process.

Equally important was our commitment to community engagement. From the outset, we recognised the significance of this site, formerly home to the historic Ye Olde Charles public house, and its relationship to the surrounding community. Through regular communication with local stakeholders and consideration of community feedback, we ensured the development would not only meet residential demand but also complement Margate’s evolving character. The inclusion of a ground-floor micro pub, designed to reflect the site’s social heritage, is a prime example of this community-first approach.

Now complete, Charles Court offers 38 high-quality apartments, including four luxury penthouses, three townhouses, and vibrant communal spaces, all supported by carefully considered landscaping and modern infrastructure. It stands as a testament to our team’s capability in delivering complex, high-spec developments while maintaining a strong commitment to local engagement and professional excellence.
