Kent Construction Consultants were appointed by The MPL Group to provide full pre- and post-contract consultancy services for Seabrook Villas, a prestigious residential scheme involving the sensitive conversion of a former Victorian care home into luxury apartments. Set in the sought-after coastal town of Hythe, the development benefits from its proximity to the seafront, local heritage, and the town’s growing reputation as a desirable destination for refined coastal living. 

Operating under a traditional procurement route, Kent Construction Consultants acted as both Quantity Surveyors and Contract Administrators, managing the contract on behalf of the client to ensure delivery aligned with the agreed programme, quality standards, and cost parameters. The team worked in close collaboration with Taylor Hare Architects, the appointed architects, and Charisma, the principal contractor, to ensure that design integrity and construction quality were upheld throughout the project lifecycle. The nature of the scheme demanded particular care in integrating modern building systems within the constraints of the original Victorian structure while retaining key architectural features and complying with heritage and planning requirements. Kent Construction Consultants provided rigorous cost control, contract management, and project oversight, ensuring risks were managed effectively and project objectives were consistently met.
